CSU wage theft win

More than 2,500 current and former casual staff at Charles Sturt University (CSU) will receive back-payments totalling $4.7million in a massive win against wage theft in our sector.

This is a direct result of our members calling for an independent audit of potential underpayments of casual staff at CSU in 2020.

2,526 staff will receive back-payments going back to July 2015.

We know underpayment of staff is endemic in our heavily casualised sector. That's why we're campaigning for:

✅ casual staff to be paid for all hours worked
✅ improved conversion rights to secure work
✅ a fair pay rise for all staff
