QUTE provides a safe forum for members of diverse sexual orientation, gender identity and expression and sex characteristics to exchange experiences, discuss ideas and provide support.
QUTE is consulted on issues of relevance to our LGBTIQ+ membership, proposes policies and provides education against prejudice, discrimination and harassment in the workplace on the grounds of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression and sex characteristics.
After advice from QUTE most local Branches are pursuing claims for gender affirmation leave in their next enterprise agreement.
