A new Enterprise Agreement for Monash University: Read the NTEU Log of Claims

The Log of Claims (LoC) lists the main improvements to pay and working conditions that NTEU Monash members want in this round of negotiations. Branch members voted on the following key priorities:

  • Safer, fairer workloads for all staff
  • Improved protections against restructures
  • 80% secure, ongoing employment by 2024
  • A decent pay-rise
  • All hours paid for all hours worked for casual staff
  • Flexible working arrangements and the right to work from home

"My Union Wrote an EBA": NTEU Monash Branch Bargaining Podcast
Members of the Monash University Branch of the NTEU have created a podcast to chronicle the progress towards a new Enterprise Agreement. Our aim is to release an episode after each bargaining meeting to keep everyone up to date with what's happening inside the bargaining room, and help de-mystify some of the ins and outs of negotiating an Agreement in the Australian higher education sector.
