Members update - 28 September

Last week, NTEU Monash members voted overwhelmingly in favour of a 48-hour strike beginning at 12.00pm on Monday 9 October and ending at 11.59am on Wednesday 11 October (Week 11, Semester Two).

We have collectively decided to take the strongest industrial action at Monash University in over a decade. It's time for management to pay attention to staff demands for secure jobs, fair workloads and a decent pay rise and to begin reforming the managerialism and corporatism that is hurting both staff and students.

Below we have compiled important information on the upcoming strike. You can also find this information on our Monash Branch bargaining website at the "Industrial Action" tab: www.nteu.au/bargaining/monash
