Final Friday Strike Action!

Final Friday Actions this Friday 24 May!

 

ACADEMIC STAFF MEMBERS:

  • Stop work 9am - 11am.

  • Do not attend Final Friday Meetings between 9am and 11am.

  • Rally at Footscray Park at 10am. Meet at the main bus stop on Ballarat Rd from 9:30am onwards ready for action at 10am.

PROFESSIONAL STAFF MEMBERS:

  • Ban on the following selected VU Online Systems between 11am - 12pm (see list below).

  • Online Rally 12.00 – 12:30PM (Direct Action during the lunch break) – REGISTER HERE.

Online systems banned between 11am - 12pm:

 

a. PeopleFirst;

 

b. Microsoft Teams;

 

c. Cisco Jabber;

 

d. VU Develop; and

 

e. Microsoft Outlook

 

Remember only NTEU members that are covered by the Victoria University Enterprise Agreement 2019 can take part in protected industrial action. Encourage your colleagues who aren’t yet members to join so they can participate in the Final Friday actions. The bigger the turnout, the stronger the message we’ll send to VU management that VU staff demand real improvements to our rights and entitlements!
